Gastric ESD

The lesion located on the greater curvature to slightly posterior wall of antrum.

Step 1: Circumferential Incision and Trimming


✔ Master “Press and Pull” technique for effective incision.

✔ Effective trimming by “hooking and pulling triangular electrode”.

Step 2: Dissection


✔ Hook the edge” is the key for effective dissection with ITKnife2™ device.

✔ “Pull and Cut” from both sides, from distal side to proximal side for creating enough space.

✔  “Control Cut mode and Coagulation mode for smooth dissection.

Step 3: Complete Dissection


✔ “Create Margin” for pulling the knife, hooking and pulling tissue bundles for safety dissection.

✔ Effectively use the “Coagulation” mode for safe dissection when the knife contacts fibrous tissue perpendicularly.
