Thyroidectomy

A thyroidectomy is the surgical removal of the thyroid gland for benign or malignant indications. This can include partial (partial thyroidectomy or lobectomy) or total removal of the thyroid gland. These procedures require fine and precise dissection to ensure patient safety. The operative field is confined and includes very delicate anatomy.
