Narrow Band Imaging (NBI)

Narrow band imaging is an optical imaging technology that enhances the visibility of vessels and other tissue on the mucosal surface. Olympus offers NBI technology which is strongly absorbed by hemoglobin, penetrates only the surface of tissue and is ideal for enhancing the contrast between blood vessels and the mucosa.
