Patient information: 47y.o. male come for opportunistic screening colonoscopy

Medical history: No family history of CRC. No alcohol abuse, no smoking.

The final optical diagnosis in this case was:

Location: ascending colon

Size: ~15mm

Morphology (Paris classification): 0-ІIa

Pit pattern: II+IIO (Kudo classification: asteroid pits and open pits)

JNET classification: JNET1 (vessel pattern – invisible; surface pattern – dark spots inside crypts)

Optical diagnosis: Sessile serrated lesion (SSL)

Treatment: cold snare polypectomy (CSP)

Pathology report: Sessile serrated lesion (polyp/adenoma) without cytologic dysplasia (ICD-O code: 8213/0)
